The original idea for "Working The Line" came from a John Clymer painting. The sculpture depicts a trapper with beaver pelts, and all his accoutrements, such as beaver traps, stretched hides, medicine bag, "possibles" bag, bone-handled knife, etc. In 2003 this sculpture received the Western Art Association Purchase Award to place one of the edition into the permanent collection of the Clymer Museum in Ellensburg, WA. In 2003 it also won the "Old West Museum Gallery Award" at the Western Spirit Art show in Cheyenne, WY; and in 2004 the "Award For Excellence" at the JH Urology Conference in Jackson, WY.
